Atlantic Immigration Pilot
An exciting new immigration stream will begin accepting application from March 2017.
The Atlantic Immigration Pilot is an employer driven pilot aimed at addressing the labour market challenges in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland & Labrador.
The Pilot will allow 2,000 applications in 2017 under 3 categories:
• Atlantic High Skilled Program;
• Atlantic Intermediate Skilled Program;
• Atlantic International Graduate Program.
The pilot is an outcome of the Atlantic Growth strategy designed to help Atlantic businesses innovate, grow and succeed. The key role of employers and the requirement of an individualized settlement plan recognize the importance of employment and ongoing support as central to the long-term success of immigrants.
